Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on GCD and Azure, and a master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

You will work closely with product managers, data engineers to transform prototypes into production, and implement best practices in MLOps/AI Ops for model versioning, monitoring, and automation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-native architectures for LLM-based products and services
  • Utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and updates
  • Developing and maintaining network architecture, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, etc.
  • Collecting requirements, designing service & resource configuration, and implementing configuration for GCD and Azure resources/services
  • Configuring and managing VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions
  • Implementing and managing cloud-based firewalls, load balancers, Meraki switches/access points, and other network security measures
  • Monitoring and optimizing network performance, ensuring low latency and high availability
  • Collaborating with MSPs remotely to transition client's existing on-prem network devices, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
  • Experience working with network scanning tools to determine access points & potential vulnerabilities
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues in a timely manner
  • Monitoring cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite, Datadog, Splunk, etc.
  • Implementing and managing security measures, including policies, encryption, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud and network engineering trends, technologies, best practices
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Contributing to the development of RFPs, PoCs, and client proposals

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on GCD and Azure
  • A master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in GCD/Azure services such as VMs, Storage, SQL Database & SQL Managed Instance, and Functions
  • Strong expertise in network engineering, including designing and managing complex network architectures
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions
  • Experience with cloud-based firewalls, load balancers, and network security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience working with MSPs to manage on-prem network devices and ensure seamless integration with cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
