The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation using object-oriented programming languages, experience building automation frameworks for web-based software and mobile platforms, and knowledge of Defect Management, Bug life cycle, Performance management. They should be able to debug test failures and trace to failing code, integrate automated testing into a CI/CD framework, and possess SQL skills and/or data validation.

In addition, the Automation Lead should articulate sustainable processes, possess strong interpersonal, project management and organizational skills, and experience working in an Agile Scrum environment. Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential, as is a willingness to pitch ideas and test new approaches. Finally, they should have extensive knowledge on implementing coding standards and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
