Responsibilities

  • Conduct energy yield assessments and resource evaluations">
  • Design and optimize site layouts, perform concept design, and feasibility studies">
  • Provide technical due diligence for lenders on IPP transactions and Lenders Technical Advisor scopes of work">
  • Develop Project Development and Owners Engineer scopes of work, including tendering and contracting support, construction monitoring, and management, and technical advisory services">

WSP aims to expand its renewable energy team and is seeking talented engineers or professionals with experience in solar PV delivery.

Applications are encouraged from those with rich experience in Solar PV as an EPC contractor, developer, or OEMs, as well as consultancy experience.

Requirements

  • ">
  • A degree in a relevant engineering field, ideally with a graduate qualification related to electrical engineering and/or renewable energy">
  • 10-15 years of experience in delivering solar PV projects, preferably in ME and internationally on utility scale projects, and at least one of WSP's core services">
  • Knowledge of solar PV technology and project development process">
  • Ability to conduct energy yield assessments, simulations, near and far shading analysis, equipment sizing, technology selection, and site suitability assessment">
