Job Overview

As a power electronics design engineer, you will play a critical role in developing product specifications from customer requirements. This involves working closely with customers to gather and analyze their needs, translating them into detailed product designs that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing power electronics assemblies according to customer specifications
  • Developing bills of materials (BOM) and providing product costing to sales teams
  • Reviewing overall designs, including mechanical solutions, to ensure they meet customer requirements and industry standards


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the power electronics field, with a strong understanding of semiconductor devices and power converter technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of IGBTs, diodes, and driver circuits
  • Ability to calculate power losses in power semiconductor devices
  • Proficiency in SAP software
