Battery Energy Storage System Hardware Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Battery Energy Storage System Hardware Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality BMS hardware systems for battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering top-notch BMS HW systems on-time.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide solutions for complex use cases.
  • Providing technical support in a customer-facing role to address daily challenges.

Qualifications:

  • BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
  • 12-14 years of experience in software development or a related field.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience in developing BMS for energy storage/ESS.
  • Rich hands-on experience in architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS.
  • Strong design knowledge of Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries for Energy storage application.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout constraints.
  • Experience with Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries.
  • Experience using simulation tools (e.g., P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad).
  • Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience working with various Sensing Technologies.
  • Experience working with hardware peripherals and communication ckt design.
  • Experience in Power Supply Design.
  • Experience working with MOSFET driving.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262 when building HW designs.
  • Contactors and Relays.
  • Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products.
