Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Documentation Specialist to support Micron's Global Quality (GQ) engineering department. In this role, you will create high-quality documentation to support the learning and development needs of GQ team members, ensuring they have the necessary information to perform tasks consistently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal customers to understand documentation needs for on-the-job training
  • Conduct and/or participate in meetings to ensure knowledge management resources meet end-user needs
  • Create documentation to support learning, knowledge sharing, standardization, etc.
  • Maintain and update existing materials
  • Educate internal customers on the importance of documentation, as well as on documentation guidelines and improvement
  • Ensure materials are stored in the appropriate system

Requirements:

  • Strong English-language skills
  • Written communication – you can organize and present information clearly and concisely
  • Interpersonal skills – you are comfortable talking to people at all levels of an organization
  • Problem-solving – when confronted with a challenge, you listen, observe, and analyze what's truly going on and then work independently or with collaborative partners on an effective solution
  • Project management – you can identify, plan, organize, and execute the tasks required for successful project completion
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Video and image editing
