Job Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing financials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounts team to provide guidance and support for career progression.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the company.
  • Cost Management and Profitability: Ensure proper costing methods are in place for all manufacturing processes and products.
  • Taxation and Audits: Oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with all tax laws.
  • Cash Flow and Working Capital Management: Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and capital requirements.
  • SAP and Financial Systems Management: Implement and maintain accounting software/ERP systems to ensure efficient processing of financial transactions.
  • Strategic Planning and Advisory: Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as MBA or Post Graduation in finance or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Strong experience in manufacturing industry accounting, cost management, and financial analysis.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., SAP, ERP) and MS Excel.
