Job Summary:

Manastu Space is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Manager to oversee the financial health of the company and drive strategic growth. This role will be pivotal in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, optimizing cash flow, and planning for long-term financial sustainability. The Financial Manager will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cost analysis, and exploring new financing avenues to support the company's mission in space exploration. Additionally, they will play a key role in product costing, valuation of the company, and comparative cost analysis to drive profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Communication & Relations

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
  • Provide regular financial updates, reports, and strategic insights to investors and stakeholders.
  • Oversee investor relations initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.

Financial Oversight & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce financial policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and efficient budget management.
  • Supervise and guide the accounting department, overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance.

Conduct financial risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.

Costing & Valuation

  • Conduct costing of products and services, ensuring financial viability and market competitiveness.
  • Evaluate the company's financial position by analyzing company valuation metrics and implementing cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform comparative cost analysis (Cx costing) to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Strategic Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead financial forecasting and profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term objectives.
  • Plan and execute strategies for fundraising, investor relations, and capital acquisition to support growth.
  • Forecast future financial trends, ensuring accurate predictions for cash flow, revenue growth, and capital requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive development budget and oversee its implementation.

Financial Reporting & Budget Management

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Monitor and manage the company's budget, expenses, and overall cost control, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Develop and oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide financial guidance and support to Sales, Marketing, HR, and Operations teams, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Oversee relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to ensure access to necessary capital.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate financial planning, risk management, investment strategies, and financial forecasting.
  • Expertise in accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in India.
  • Proficiency with financial management software such as NetSuite ERP and collaborative tools like Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and Confluence.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and drive financial success.
