To plan, coordinate and administer applications for plant variety protection (PVP) of newly developed varieties in the Indian market.
Responsibilities- Obtain and maintain PVP applications for Syngenta vegetables in India according to the relevant policy guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with regional specialists to ensure alignment with marketing authorization requirements at state level in India.
- Support registration activities in other APAC countries by providing coordination and expertise in PVP matters.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business teams, R&D experts and counterparts in other functions.
- Advise on procedural and legal issues related to PVP, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of technical aspects of plant varieties and/or seed and IP laws and regulations.
- Strong computer skills and database management abilities.
- At least five years of experience working in complex international environments.
