STA Implementation Specialist

Overview

The STA Engineer will be responsible for the RTL-to-GDSII implementation of complex SoC blocks or full-chip designs, targeting performance, power, and area (PPA) optimization and signoff closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timing Closure Fundamentals: Understanding of timing closure principles, including static timing analysis, signal integrity, and clock domain crossing.
  • Constraint Creation and Maintenance: Exposure to constraint creation and maintenance tools, such as Liberty or SDC files.
  • DFT Modes in STA Timing Closure: Familiarity with Design for Test (DFT) modes in static timing analysis.

The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in STA engineering and possess excellent communication skills. This role is focused on delivering high-quality results and driving process improvements throughout the development cycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering complex SoC blocks or full-chip designs to production.
  • Strong understanding of digital design methodologies and tools, including synthesis, placement, routing, and physical verification.
  • Experience with leading-edge technologies and emerging trends in the field of electronic design automation (EDA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
