We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Valuation Expert to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in the valuation of businesses and assets, driving business growth through financial expertise. Key activities include:

  • Valuing businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting purposes.
  • Analyzing historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks.
  • Challenging assumptions related to future financial projections.
  • Developing discount rates (WACC, IRR, WARA) and conducting financial statement analysis.
  • Performing market/industry research and developing industry growth estimates.
  • Constructing and reviewing valuation and other financial models.
  • Assisting with the design and preparation of valuation reports and client deliverables.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, directing project activity and providing review and mentorship as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial valuation, fair value, and/or goodwill impairments.
  • A fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies.
  • Experience in building, analyzing, and reviewing financial models.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases and tools such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Strong technical skills working with financial models in Excel.
