Strategic Product Director

The Strategic Product Director plays a pivotal leadership role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting business growth. This position aligns departmental goals with the company's overall vision, oversees cross-functional teams, and manages high-impact projects to enhance customer experience, regulatory compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Innovation & Market Analysis: Identify new product opportunities and conduct market research to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Product Development & Pricing Strategy: Develop innovative products that meet customer needs while ensuring profitable pricing strategies.
  • Internal Approvals & Governance: Obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders and ensure compliance with governance regulations.
  • Regulatory Filing – IRDAI Coordination: Coordinate with regulatory bodies for timely filing and compliance.
  • Pre-Launch Preparation & Testing: Prepare and test products before launch to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop effective go-to-market strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Product Launch & Monitoring: Oversee product launches and monitor performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory & Risk Management Post-Launch: Ensure ongoing compliance and manage risks associated with product launches.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on product performance and progress.
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead teams and engage with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate with 8+ years of experience in Product Development for Life Insurance.
