Project Manager - Water Supply and Irrigation Projects

The ideal candidate for this position will have 7 to 10 years of experience in managing water supply and irrigation projects.

  • Effective project management and task prioritization are essential skills for this role.
  • A successful project manager should be able to create detailed project plans, considering timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
  • This includes planning resources, manpower, and materials to achieve the desired performance.
  1. Budget preparation and management are critical components of this position. The manager must control costs and achieve targeted margins.
  2. The progress of projects should be continuously monitored and controlled by making necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
  3. Solving issues such as Forest Permissions, Highway Permissions, and Local Bodies Permissions is also a key responsibility.

Additionally, the manager will be responsible for executing quality control measures, safety rules, and regulations. They must create a collaborative and high-performance working environment.

Familiarity with Accounting Principles, Financial Aspects, Risk Management, and Strategic Decisions is required. Knowledge of Tender Clauses, Billings, Department Correspondence, and Claims is also necessary.

Skills in Construction Methods, Materials, and Legal Regulations are essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also required for this position.
