Financial Operations Assistant

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial team in preparing and reviewing financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. They will also assist in corporate income tax audits, regulatory filings, and staying up-to-date on evolving tax regulations to ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in reviewing tax setups for vendors and customers
  • Conduct periodic invoice reviews and rectify discrepancies
  • Coordinate with external consultants to ensure timely tax payments and compliance
  • Stay updated on evolving tax regulations and ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax requirements
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 years of post-qualification experience in taxation, financial reporting, and accounting
  • Expertise in GST, TDS, Corporate Tax, and handling tax notices, audits
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setup preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must, proficiency in PowerPoint and Power BI is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with consultants, auditors, and internal teams
