Senior Design Verification Engineer Role

The primary focus of this role is to contribute significantly to the verification process of various IPs, subsystems, and System-on-Chip (SOC) designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and functional specifications for IPs, subsystems, and SOC designs.
  • Create and maintain a thorough Verification Environment Architecture document.
  • Review and revise work to meet agreed-upon acceptance criteria.
  • Design and implement verification environments using System Verilog, UVM (Universal Verification Methodology), and C programming languages.
  • Perform RTL simulations utilizing Synopsys and Cadence simulators.
  • Debug and resolve issues found during simulations, including performance-related problems.
  • Develop and maintain performance test plans.
  • Design and implement transactors, monitors, and models for performance verification.
  • Implement performance verification flows, including monitoring, synchronization, reporting, and self-checking mechanisms.
  • Provide detailed reports on performance metrics and bottlenecks.
  • Track tickets and code releases using Bug Tracking tools and GIT.
  • Perform UPF (Unified Power Format) based Power Aware simulations.
  • Capture Assertion and Functional Coverage bins in SVA (System Verilog Assertions).
  • Ensure code and functional coverage closure.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in design verification.
  • Strong knowledge of System Verilog, UVM, and C programming languages.
  • Proficiency in RTL simulations using Synopsys and Cadence simulators.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain performance test plans.
  • Experience with transactors, monitors, and models for performance verification.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
