Job Description

The Space Management Analyst plays a pivotal role in facilitating seamless collaboration between merchants, cross-functional partners, and field organization.

This key position is responsible for leveraging data insights to create optimized planograms using JDA/Blue Yonder software and space management systems. The successful candidate will possess the ability to interpret and present the rationale behind strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of clear, concise playbooks to the planogram development team, communicating merchandising strategy and category-specific details to aid in delivering accurate high-quality planograms, meet timelines, and adhere to regulatory and merchandising standards.
  • Develop and implement planograms that improve space productivity and increase buyer conversion at shelf.
  • Collaborate with merchants and cross-functional partners to align merchandising strategies and drive business results.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on space management systems and JDA/Blue Yonder software.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in retail planning and merchandising.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A fundamental understanding of JDA/Blue Yonder software, Microsoft Office Suite, including Golden queries.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound problem-solving skills for technical and business issues.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data in developing a customer-centric approach to assigned merchandise categories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
