Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior CAD Designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques, including material types and gauges, bend allowances and K-factors, and weld joint planning and laser-friendly nesting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop manufacturable designs by interpreting project briefs and customer drawings.
  • Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks for base frames, acoustic canopies, electrical cabinets, and portable light towers.
  • Ensure feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and design intent alignment.
  • Apply knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques to create features that simplify assembly and improve quality.
  • Define detailed dimensions, GD&T, and fit tolerances.
  • Use industry-standard welding symbols for MIG, TIG, fillet, groove, and corner welds.
  • Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and project management teams.
  • Address feedback from fabrication and QA for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to design optimization and cost-saving solutions.
