About the Role


ADM is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Erlanger, KY. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing Testing services focusing on the 1ADM program and other projects leveraging testing services.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers and/or Solution Managers to understand and document testing requirements.
  • Daily Operations: Coordinate and follow up with Partner's onshore and offshore team members on assigned tasks.
  • Resource Estimation: Calculate high-level testing resource estimates based on project size, complexity, and duration.
  • Testability Analysis: Analyze testability of project requirements.
  • Test Strategy: Complete test strategy entry/exit criteria, schedule kickoff meetings, test case creation (automated/manual), plan regression testing, plan stress/load testing, test environment plan, test data plan, test communication plan, test resource plan, test case execution, business participation and sign-off, defect process, and test reporting.
  • Meetings and Reporting: Run kickoff meetings, attend project meetings, monitor and report on schedule adherence, test case creation, test environment creation, test data creation, test case execution, completion of business sign-off, make adjustments to the resource plan as required, schedule and run or monitor defect meetings, and timely reporting of project status to project management.
  • Quality Assessment: Assess quality and test process maturity level and assist in defining strategy to implement best practices.
  • Communication: Monitor communications are as per the plan, and report any concerns on testing preparation, quality, or timelines to test and project management.
  • Post-Project Analysis: Complete post-project defect analysis for possible improvements.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues with solution managers and project managers, resolve issues with the testing team, resolve issues with testability of requirements, user stories, or other documentation, and work with IT and/or business leads to find resources needed to successfully complete testing.
  • Creative Solutions: Provide creative solutions to testing challenges while ensuring proper testing.
  • Negotiations and Guidelines: Work on negotiations of partner agreements, define guidelines for testability of requirements or other documentation, lead review sessions of best practices for testing and implement results, and work with business leaders on moving forward testing initiatives.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

For this role, we require:



  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ Years Experience: 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • 3 Years Test Lead Experience: Must have 3 years of experience as a test lead or similar software testing position.
  • Cross-Platform Experience: Experience with creating cross-platform manual and automated test plans and test cases.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, self-motivated team player with good communication skills, ability to multi-task, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex problems, management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, and execute to test plan).
  • Software Quality Passion: A passion for software product quality.
  • QA Processes: Experience with QA processes, test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests.
  • Technical Communication: Demonstrates the ability to translate technical information into terminology understood at all levels of users, both verbally and in writing.
  • Team-Oriented: Consistently create a positive work environment by being team-oriented.
  • Courteous Communication: Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Testing Experience: Experience with testing of all phases on minimum 2 SAP projects with at least one in the test lead capacity.
  • Load/Performance Testing: Experience with load/performance testing.
  • Automation Testing: 2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Tricentis Tosca test automation tool.
  • Agile Methodology: 3 years of test experience working with Agile methodology.
  • SAP S/4 HANA Environment: Test experience in SAP S/4 HANA environment.
  • DevOps and Continuous Testing: Experience with DevOps and continuous testing.

  • Cloud Applications Understanding: Technical understanding of cloud applications, web services, server-side components, and APIs.
  • Software Development Methodologies: Experience with software development methodologies/processes such as Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and Shift-Left-approach to make testing more efficient and can adjust to a hybrid form of methodology.
  • Mobility Testing: Experience on mobility testing and exposure to cloud mobile solutions.
