Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to manage our AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and administering AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Developing and maintaining high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, utilizing backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.
  • Overseeing automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Analyzing system performance, identifying trends, and implementing improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency. Utilizing monitoring platforms like Datadog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.
  • Implementing security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.
  • Administering company SaaS platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
