Senior Revenue Associate

The Senior Revenue Associate plays a crucial role in our revenue recognition team.

We are seeking an experienced professional to assist in ensuring revenue recognition is performed in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

  • Perform detailed reviews of contracts to ensure revenue recognition related to the contract is in accordance with applicable accounting standards and guidelines.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to revenue and associated accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with the quarterly and annual external audits, preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests, maintaining high levels of quality and productivity.
  • Manage multiple internal relationships within the organization, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Perform various ad hoc revenue analysis and reporting as needed, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Key Requirements:

  • B Com graduate or equivalent, preferably with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably revenue accounting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Public Accounting and/or professional services or IT industry experience highly preferred, with knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • CA / CPA or pursuing a CA/CPA certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and excellence.
