FSC Chain of Custody Auditor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled FSC Chain of Custody Auditor to join our team at DNV. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting audits and ensuring that our clients' forestry practices meet the highest standards of sustainability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct FSC Chain of Custody audits according to specific client requirements or international recognized ISO schemes
  • Perform value-added training to clients
  • Manage key accounts and client relationships in business development situations
  • Identify growth areas and provide market input to regional tactical plans
  • Develop new and large project opportunities
  • Act as a member of the key account team for relevant key customers

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in Forestry or a related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the forest products sector
  • Successful completion of an IRCA registered "ISO management standard auditor course" or an ISO 19011 course on auditing techniques as per FSC scheme
  • Successful completion of a CoC auditor training as specified in FSC scheme as per FSC-STD-20, FSC-PRO-20 and training as per FSC-STD-40-004 V3-1, FSC-STD-50-001(V2-1)
  • Knowledge of Forestry related regulations
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients at all levels of an organization including senior management
