Executive Sous Chef Role Overview

The Executive Sous Chef is a vital member of the hotel's culinary team, responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the kitchen department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supports the overall success of the hotel's dining experience by ensuring all aspects of food preparation and presentation are met to the highest standard.
  • Takes ownership of guest satisfaction, delivering prompt and effective solutions to any issues that may arise.
  • Liaises with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives and drive financial performance.
  • Monitors inventory and costs to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Maintains a high level of motivation among the kitchen team, promoting growth and development within the department.
  • Fosters strong working relationships with colleagues across the hotel.
  • Conducts regular reviews of menu offerings to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
