Sr. Java Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend developer to lead our development team.

  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Spring and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
  • A strong background in microservices and Web Services (JSON, REST, JAX-RS, Spring based REST services) is essential.
  • The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Java Multithreading, Java, J2EE/Java EE (servlets, JSP, JSF, JDBC), and databases like Mongo and Cassandra.
  • Experience with development tools like Git, Gradle, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins, and Artifactory is required.
  • Familiarity with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, and JBoss is an advantage.
  • A good grasp of TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito, DevOps practices, and CICD model of development is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, industry best practices, and Agile project management is expected.
  • Agile project experience along with working on Agile tools like JIRA is highly desirable.
