Fixed Income Trader Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Income Trader to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for actively trading in a variety of fixed income instruments including government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Interest Rate Futures (IRF), and Corporate bonds.
  • They will explore new investment opportunities in dynamic market scenarios, generating profitability through trading in SLR and Non SLR instruments.
  • The successful candidate will maintain adherence to regulatory guidelines and investment policies, ensuring compliance with firm regulations.
  • Strong relationship building skills and presentation skills are essential for managing relationships with representatives from Banks, Primary Dealers, Mutual Funds, Insurance funds, and brokerages firms.
Candidate Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA in Finance/economics from a premium institution or CA/CFA (preferably) with an excellent academic record.
  • Extensive experience in onshore INR Macro Trading and knowledge of the Indian rates market.
  • At least 3-6 years of experience in trading government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), and Interest Rate Futures (IRF).
  • Well-versed with CCIL applications, including NDS-OM/TREPS/CROMS platform.
  • Good understanding of Money Market and debt market along with regulatory requirements/compliance.
  • Strong track record of revenue generation.
