We are seeking an accomplished professional to take on a pivotal role within our Product Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end accounting, management reporting, and financial/tax reporting processes from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • The individual will own P&L analysis, product risk assessment, and financial accounting/reporting, including month-end close and statutory reporting.
  • They will manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with finance control standards.
  • The chosen candidate will drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives across reporting functions.
  • They will lead and develop a high-performing team of product controllers, fostering independence and accountability.
  • The ideal candidate will deliver on key projects and support strategic initiatives within finance and product control.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A qualified CA, CFA, or MBA with 10–13 years of relevant post-qualification experience is essential.
  • The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements, particularly those applicable to the banking industry.
  • Prior experience in product control, finance control, investment banking middle office, financial services, equity research, or stockbroking is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to build and mentor teams is crucial.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
