Overview of the IT Service Delivery Manager Role

This senior manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering large-scale software development projects. This includes working closely with project stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to meet delivery deadlines
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex software development projects on time and within budget
  • Coach project teams on Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management best practices
  • Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Perform risk assessments to mitigate potential project risks
  • Monitor and analyze project performance using relevant metrics and tools
  • Manage relationships with clients and key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in project management
  • 15+ years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Project Management, Software Development Life Cycle, and Software Quality Assurance methodologies
