Jewellery Merchandiser

As a skilled jewellery merchandiser, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and improving product offerings through data-driven insights and market research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine product mixes, quantities, and assortments to meet market trends and customer preferences.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and collaborate with production and procurement teams to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Predict future sales to inform production and purchasing decisions.
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS TO SECURE HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCTS AT COMPETITIVE PRICES.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer demand.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, sales events, and new product launches in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • EFFECTIVELY DISPLAY JEWELLERY IN RETAIL ENVIRONMENTS AND ONLINE PLATFORMS TO MAXIMIZE SALES.
  • Track sales performance and analyze data to identify trends, best-sellers, and underperforming products.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and overall merchandising strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in merchandising, preferably within the jewellery industry.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and retail strategies.
  • Proficiency in merchandising software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative flair for product presentation and display.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
