Senior Financial Leader Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our financial administration, ensuring sound management, compliance, and strategic planning.

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader with over 20 years of experience in budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, fundraising strategies, and process optimization. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change within the organization.

  1. Financial Planning & Strategy
  • Develop long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Implement fundraising and investment strategies to ensure sustainability and growth.
  1. Budgeting & Cost Control
  • Oversee preparation, monitoring, and management of annual budgets to optimize resource utilization.
  • Implement effective cost control measures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  1. Process Optimization
  • Streamline financial systems, processes, and reporting to improve transparency and efficiency.
  • Introduce automation and digital tools to enhance decision-making capabilities.
  1. Fund Management & Risk Planning
  • Manage cash flows, investments, and fund utilization to ensure liquidity and sustainability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization's assets.
  1. Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare timely and accurate management information reports, board presentations, and donor reports.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements to maintain good governance practices.
  1. Fundraising Support
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and monitor fundraising strategies that meet organizational objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to enhance donor engagement and partner confidence.
  1. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and contribute to the organization's overall success.
  • Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in financial management, administration, or controlling roles.
  • Strong track record in budgeting, cost optimization, and financial leadership at a senior level.
