Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Newbridgefintech. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, meticulously document results, and track defects through resolution.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance under various load conditions.
  • Collaborate with security teams to perform security testing, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Utilize SQL skills to validate data integrity and ensure accuracy in test results and application behavior.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of test strategies, plans, results, and findings.
  • Generate insightful reports to communicate quality status to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS applications, preferably in the financial services domain.
  • Proven expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Demonstrable experience with performance testing tools and security testing methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and a passion for learning new technologies and methodologies in the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape.
