Site Reliability Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineering lead to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our infrastructure and collaborate with talented professionals in the industry.

This position presents a chance to drive innovation and implement best practices in Site Reliability Engineering, while working closely with cross-functional teams across platform engineering, operations, and wider infrastructure teams for both public cloud and on-premises platforms.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the SRE strategy, promoting an automated culture through reduced toil, and developing methodologies for identifying and automating toil-heavy processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and implementing SRE strategy
  • Promoting automation through reduced toil
  • Developing methodologies for process automation
  • Assisting in developing service metrics and objectives
  • Designing monitoring strategies and implementing capabilities
  • Implementing reliability improvements
  • Conducting capacity planning
  • Performing chaos engineering exercises
  • Leading architectural reviews for reliability

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an SRE practitioner
  • Practical experience defining and implementing SLOs and operating under Error Budgets
  • Experience with monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems
  • Familiarity with corporate software development lifecycle methodologies
  • Strong understanding of technical systems and their interactions
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of critical production support processes
  • Experience with public or private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
