Network Administrator

A network professional is needed to maintain our IT infrastructure. The role involves ensuring the reliability and security of our networks, with responsibilities including network monitoring and reporting, firewall and security operations, device configuration and backup, access and user management, load balancer operations, incident and change management, and cloud and virtualization awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Monitoring and Reporting
    • Monitor and report on network link availability and utilization.
    • Prepare and maintain network device inventory.
  • Firewall and Security Operations
    • Manage firewall access and implement security measures.
    • Review and update security protocols.
    • Monitor security logs and deploy security signatures.
  • Device Configuration and Backup
    • Take and restore backups of network devices.
    • Modify network settings as required.
    • Reset network passwords.
  • Access and User Management
    • Manage access permissions for users.
    • Review and report on user access.
  • Load Balancer Operations
    • Configure and manage load balancers.
    • Create new application rules.
  • Incident and Change Management
    • Handle incidents via email and phone.
    • Implement changes according to policy.
    • Coordinate with OEM for troubleshooting.
  • Cloud and Virtualization Awareness
    • Familiarity with cloud and virtualization technologies.
    • Understanding of data center infrastructure.
