Job Title: Database Architect

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our database strategy and architecture.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex relational databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance databases that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
  • Create and manage ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation using tools like Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Develop data models (normalized and denormalized) for transactional and analytical purposes.
  • Monitor and improve database security, integrity, and availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in SQL and major RDBMS.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, and Snowflake.
  • Data modelling concepts including star schema, snowflake, and normalization.
  • Performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
  • Version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases.
