Job Title

R&D Software Developer

Role Purpose:

The R&D software developer works with a collaborative team dedicated to the design and development of innovative software solutions. The focus of this role will revolve around software engineering and supporting systems. You are comfortable with coding, unit testing, and understand software engineering fundamentals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Performs basic development activities including design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of software modules and sub-systems.
  2. Learns and employs best practices.
  3. Performs basic bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
  4. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions.
  5. Works under the general supervision of a development lead.
Minimum Education Certification Requirements and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical discipline.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in ASP .NET, C#, Node-JS, and MS-SQL.
  • Exposure to different design patterns and microservices architecture.
  • Understands and follows code versioning practices and exposure to GIT practice.
  • Good interpersonal, team, and communication skills with the ability to facilitate and conduct presentations to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Exposure in designing and developing enterprise applications using Service Oriented Architecture with SOAP, REST, and Microservices.
  • Exposure experience in graph databases like Neo4j, MS.
  • MS or PhD degree a plus.
