Telecommunications Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to fill this key role in Bengaluru, India.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and publish telecommunications designs to support projects, including structured cabling systems, communications rooms, outside plant infrastructure, active ICT networks, wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modeling, RF systems, and technology platforms.
  • Prepare reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to enable the tendering of works to qualified integrators/contractors.
  • Liaise with other engineers, vendors, and contractors throughout the project duration.
  • Mentor junior and graduate engineers within a multi-discipline design team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in electronic, computer systems, or telecommunications engineering.
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering.
  • Past experience in mentoring is preferable.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience in leading, producing, and checking ICT and telecommunications designs, preferably in Asia Pacific, USA, Middle East, or UK.
Desirable Skills:
  • Detailed knowledge of system and subsystem design, including telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, active network design, server and SAN solutions, firewalls, radio systems, MPLS networks, IP-CCTV systems, and more.
  • Expertise in telecommunications design packages and office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with health and safety requirements and systems engineering/design assurance practices.
