Job Title: Cost Control Specialist

About the Role:

A Cost Control Specialist Civil plays a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, particularly those involving specialized systems. Key responsibilities include cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Diligently study project scope to ensure alignment with design requirements.
  • Validate technical specifications from the Design team.
  • Optimize specifications without compromising client requirements.
  • Analyze Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and backup workings.
  • Presentation of BOQs and solutions to management for approval.
  • Verify Return Authority (RA) bills and final bills.
  • Prepare amendments as needed.
  • Analyze budget costs based on benchmark cost matrices.
  • Present alternative budget options to actual designs.
  • Explore new products and secure approvals.
  • Suggest optimization options in budgets.
  • Meet tight deadlines for budget completion.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis for management.
