Job Title: Market Data Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the full lifecycle of market data services. This includes sourcing, licensing, entitlements, renewals, and decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end market data services, including contract management and cost optimization.
  • Analyze vendor contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
  • Oversee third-party market data, including contract administration, invoicing, and compliance.
  • Assist in purchasing analysis and supplier performance evaluation to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Research and identify potential suppliers under the guidance of the Category or Sourcing Manager.
  • Provide robust contract support, including tracking deadlines and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Support the execution of sourcing events and supplier evaluation processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings related to market data.
  • Contribute to process improvements in sourcing and procurement workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of relevant experience in market data management within capital markets or investment banking environments.
  • Strong knowledge of market data vendors and services.
  • Ability to analyze research objectives, develop methodologies, and solve complex problems related to market research.
  • Strong analytical skills for cost tracking, usage analysis, and reporting.
  • Effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders from different departments.
