We are seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing physician dictation and transcribing it into clinical notes in EMR/Billing systems.

You will also prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring medical record compliance through self-documentation attestation. Additionally, you will update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's chart.

As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will prepare and send all documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures. You will also monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures.

Other responsibilities include complying with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission, as well as performing other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.
