Medical Data Governance Specialist

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Medical Data Governance Specialist to oversee the management and integrity of clinical trial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive data management strategies, including protocol development, database creation, CRF design, and data review/reconciliation processes.
  2. Understand external data collection, integration, and management practices to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  3. Implement data cleaning techniques to accelerate subject data cleanliness and deliver high-quality results.
  4. Conduct holistic data reviews and trending analyses using reporting and analytics tools to identify issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  5. Apply artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for anomaly/outlier detection to enhance efficiency and quality.
  6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable recommendations.
  7. Manage query processes.
  8. Collaborate with technical teams to configure centralized data platforms, develop data cleaning strategies, and oversee oversight activities.
  9. Maintain and update data management documentation, including DMPs, CCGs, help text, and DVS.
  10. Review and ensure quality control of team-developed deliverables, covering eCRFs, study documents, program/report specifications, outputs, and analytics modules.
  11. Work collaboratively to ensure timely completion of high-quality deliverables.
  12. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
