KBR Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer - Piping Systems to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing piping systems that meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct pipe stress analysis calculations, plant layout comments, and piping mechanical specifications. You will also be responsible for special studies, special piping item calculations, and pipe support drawings.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of piping mechanical specifications, special studies, and special piping item calculations. You should also be proficient in using Caesar II software and Navis Model/Review Reality.
- Carry out pipe stress analysis calculations
- Conduct plant layout comments and loads to all other disciplines
- Prepare piping mechanical specifications
- Perform special studies
- Calculate special piping item data
- Create pipe support drawings
- Determine pipe support locations
