About the Opportunity:

As a Glean Developer, you will be responsible for building and integrating Glean APIs for search, chat, and workflow automation with various data sources. You will engineer robust solutions across the stack, including query understanding, document processing, and adapting models to specific domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and integrate Glean APIs for search, chat, and workflow automation with data sources ranging from Google Drive to Slack.
  2. Engineer robust solutions across the stack, including query understanding, document processing, and adapting models to specific organizational domains.
  3. Invent new signals to personalize and improve search results, combining Large Language Models (LLMs) and traditional search engines to answer complex questions.
  4. Automate business processes by orchestrating multi-step workflows and building agents that synthesize and act on enterprise data.
  5. Work collaboratively with product, design, and customer-facing teams to understand needs and deliver impactful features.

Required Skills:

  1. Proven proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++ for building production-ready code and machine learning models.
  2. Expertise with search, NLP, recommendation systems, or similar large-scale ML technologies.
  3. Strong analytical and data-handling skills, with the ability to design and evaluate experiments that influence product direction.
  4. Experience working in customer-focused, cross-functional, and collaborative engineering environments.
