  • Ability to write succinctly, objectively, and accurately under deadline pressure.
  • Handle multiple subject areas effectively and efficiently.
  • Translate stories into English.
  • Verify facts, dates, statistics, and other information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain publication's style sheet, brand guidelines, and tonality.
  • Collaborate with editors and team members to enhance content quality and coherence.
  • Conduct research when necessary to fact-check and validate information.
  • Rewrite or restructure sentences, paragraphs, or sections for clarity, readability, and conciseness.
  • Maintain proper formatting, layout, and presentation of content.
  • Ensure ethical journalism standards, avoiding plagiarism and adhering to copyright laws.
