Job Opportunity:

A Specifications Manager is responsible for driving product specifications and approvals with key stakeholders in the construction industry. This includes architects, consultants, builders, developers, and government bodies.

  • Understand project requirements by analyzing specific needs, environmental conditions, and performance expectations.
  • Select suitable construction chemicals based on project requirements and provide recommendations to sales teams.
  • Customize products to address unique project challenges or client preferences through formulation adjustments or joint development projects.
  • Provide technical support and consultation throughout the project lifecycle, including product selection, trials, and application guidelines.
  • Highlight the benefits of construction chemicals, such as improved durability, enhanced performance, reduced maintenance costs, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and consultants.
  • Participate in bid and tender processes by preparing competitive bids that demonstrate the organization's ability to meet project requirements effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely supply of construction chemicals to project sites.
  • Offer after-sales service and support, addressing issues post-installation, providing maintenance recommendations, and facilitating training sessions for end-users.
  • Stay updated with market intelligence and industry trends to anticipate demand, identify new opportunities, and adapt strategies to remain competitive in the construction chemicals market.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Generate business within a specified territory.
  • Identify prospective clients, generate business from new and existing accounts, and achieve increased sales growth; develop channel partners.
  • Manage existing dealers and develop new project dealers within the specified territory.
  • Engage maximum painting contractors to generate business for the company.
  • Create a database of sites for future business extraction through these connections.
