As we continue to grow rapidly, we need a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team and support our scaling efforts.

Job Description:

  • Develop robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.
  • Closely collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts to ensure high-quality products across different modules.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate frequent and reliable deployments.
  • Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to swift defect resolution.
  • Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Work as an individual contributor without management responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing only, preferably working exclusively on automation without manual testing responsibilities.
  • Strong experience in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis, and automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for test and defect management.

The ideal candidate is currently functioning as an individual contributor and does not have team lead or managerial responsibilities.
