Process Engineering Position

The role of Process Engineer involves overseeing the timely completion of design and engineering deliverables. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, meeting client expectations while maintaining long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure adherence to established working instructions and quality standards.
  2. Monitor work progress and work-hour usage effectively.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate with discipline and project teams.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 18-20 years of experience in process engineering with a degree in chemical engineering.
  • Proficiency in performing process calculations, including heat & mass balance and utility sizing.
  • Experience with simulation software's like HYSYS and ASPEN.
  • Ability to create process flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams.
  • Reviewing designs and construction for consistency and safety.
Desirable Skills
  • Strong knowledge of layout designing of API, OSD, Sterile and Biotech projects.
  • Sound knowledge of area classification and man material flow concepts.
  • Knowledge of ISPE guidelines and regulatory requirements of USFDA, MHRA, and WHO.

Additional responsibilities include regular contact with discipline and project personnel, monitoring project status reports, and improving productivity by reducing rework and errors.
