Job Summary:

  • Oversee the technical scope of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore projects, including gas turbines, compressors, motor-driven compressor trains, and extended plant facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to address technical concerns with internal and external clients.
  • Lead global technical project teams comprising multi-discipline engineers, designers, and suppliers.
  • Manage Engineering schedules, ensuring timely release of equipment specifications, bills of material, and customer documentation.
  • Supervise Engineering budgets.
  • Ensure all technical contract requirements are met on assigned projects, adhering to targets and objectives, certifications, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Provide engineering support during proposal, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and operation phases.
  • Assist the team in making detailed design decisions to meet contract requirements, such as overall system control philosophies and main equipment specifications.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of contract requirements and specifications and translate them into actionable tasks for the project team.

What You Bring:

">
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing, packaging, or operating rotating equipment. Candidates with more experience may be considered for senior-level positions.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Capacity to direct a small team and provide general guidance to others.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in designing, packaging, or operating gas turbines.
  • Proficiency in Engineering/PLM software Teamcenter, NX, E3, COMOS, and/or Jira.
  • Strong computer skills, including Pivot Tables and programming languages like VBA.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Familiarity with Siemens applications, customers, processes, and products is a plus.
