Job Title - Public Policy Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our policy efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a curious and problem-solving individual who is passionate about developing strategic policy positions that benefit customers and business.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with policymakers, regulators, and government stakeholders to advance policy objectives.
  • Lead advocacy and representation efforts across industry associations, think tanks, and other collective forums to strengthen the organization's position in sectoral policy debates.
  • Proactively identify new and emerging policy issues and develop well-researched policy positions and recommendations to address them.
  • Engage with think tanks, civil society organizations, and academia to shape important policy developments.
  • Advise internal teams on the regulatory implications of products and services while working with a cross-functional team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's level degree in Law/Economics/Political Science/Public Policy/Business/International Affairs or similar field.
  • Minimum 3 to 6 years' experience working with government, think tanks, public interest groups, or in the field of corporate public policy.
  • Strong experience in managing relationships with industry associations and advocacy platforms.
  • Ability to review and evaluate legislation and technical policy documents.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Understanding of telecom, technology, data privacy frameworks, and laws that impact digital businesses.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team across multiple tasks and locations.
  • Effective prioritization framework to focus on the right problems.
