Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance and security.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources.
  • Monitoring, optimizing and troubleshooting cloud environments for high availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Automating software build, testing and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery.
  • Configuring and managing AKS clusters for container orchestration and management.
  • Implementing best practices for deploying and scaling containerized applications.
  • Integrating Cloudflare services to enhance the security, performance and scalability of web applications.
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to implement robust security measures.
  • Implementing and configuring monitoring solutions using tools such as New Relic, Splunk and Dynatrace.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years minimum experience in Enterprise IT Environments with at least 2 years of solid hands-on experience in one or more of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Strong Kubernetes knowledge and hands-on working experience.
  • Strong IAC Code Experience (Terraform or Pulumi).
  • Strong Experience in Python or Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing Cloud marketplace services and technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and distributed networks.
