Compassionate Fundraising Leader Sought

Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion (SMGC) seeks a seasoned Fundraising Director to lead its efforts in securing diversified funding and lifetime donor value. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will develop and implement a 3-year fundraising strategy across high net worth individuals, corporate partners, foundations, and digital giving channels.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in major gifts and institutional fundraising, with experience launching or scaling new initiatives. They will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be fluent in budgets and unit economics, and demonstrate a strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.

Key responsibilities include developing a balanced pipeline of donors, securing strategic partnerships, and building crisis-ready messaging and success-story pipelines. The ideal candidate will also have regulatory fluency and governance sensibility, as well as expertise in CRM systems and data hygiene.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, with fundraising certifications a plus.
  • 8-10+ years of direct fundraising experience, with a proven track record in major gifts and institutional fundraising.
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives, particularly in research, education, skill development, and community empowerment.
  • Strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility, including FCRA, CSR, 12A/80G, safeguarding, and data privacy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in G-Suite and CRM systems.
