Job Title

The Embedded Systems Design Verification team at Qualcomm is responsible for delivering high-performance digital signal processor (DSP) cores that drive the mobile industry forward. Our team works closely with cross-functional teams to provide tools support and infrastructure for complex Qualcomm proprietary DSP IP.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the DSP design database and develop scalable design flows and infrastructure.

- Build new automations to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Collaborate with global teams to resolve critical infrastructure issues, challenges, and bottlenecks in a timely manner.

- Develop and deploy innovative tool methodologies and automation to continuously improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

- 3-10 years of experience in programming, database management, tools support, and automation.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong analytical, programming, and debugging skills.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Shell, and Makefile TCI.

- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes/Docker.

- Experience with JIRA or any bug tracking tool.

- Strong expertise in Git and familiarity with Clearcase.

- Knowledge of databases such as SQL and MongoDB.

- Familiarity with digital signal processing and electronics.

- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience.

- OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience.

- OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience.
