Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced automation test engineer to join our team. This role is critical for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated tests for APIs, web applications, and synthetic monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience and a strong background in automating a wide range of tests. A deep understanding of Cypress for front-end testing and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) for managing test infrastructure is also required.

This position involves:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks for API, web, and synthetic monitoring.
  • Developing and executing automated test scripts for web applications using Cypress.
  • Automating API testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of backend services.
  • Implementing and managing synthetic monitoring solutions to proactively identify application performance issues.
  • Using AWS services to manage and scale test environments and infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
  • Demonstrable experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, particularly Cypress.
  • Strong expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or Rest-Assured.
  • Experience with synthetic monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services for setting up and managing test environments.
  • Proven background in the automobile or automotive industry.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
